All shipping rates on www.kristenchef.com are calculated in REAL-TIME through FedEx and USPS (United States Postal Service) websites. At Kristen Chef we are happy to be able to share the discounts we get shipping via FedEx with our customers. The shipping amount you receive on your order is based on a combination of the # of items you have in your cart (weight) and where those items are shipping from. We ship from many different warehouses around the USA so sometimes it is necessary for you to receive multiple shipments, if this is the case then you will be notified via email after you place your order.
Please note: All orders placed after 9AM EST are processed on the NEXT BUSINESS DAY. This means that if you place an overnight shipping order at 9:30AM on Monday, it will be processed Tuesday Morning. If you need your order processed the same day, please call us at 1800-432-7571 after placing your order and we will see if we can do it for you.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A 24-48 HOUR PROCESSING TIME FOR ALL ORDERS. THE SHIPPING TIME FRAMES BELOW ARE THE TRANSIT-TIME AFTER THE ORDER ACTUALLY SHIPS.
EMBROIDERED ORDERS CAN TAKE UP TO 7 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE SHIPPING – THIS APPLIES EVEN IF YOU CHOOSE AN EXPRESS SHIPPING OPTION. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS AND IF YOU NEED YOUR EMBROIDERED ITEM BY A CERTAIN DATE PLEASE CALL US TO LET US KNOW.

FedEx Ground: 4-5 Business days
FedEx 2Day: 2 Business Days
FedEx 3Day: 3 Business Days
FedEx Standard Overnight: 1 Business Day (delivery by 3PM)
FedEx Priority Overnight: 1 Business Day (delivery by 10:30AM)
USPS Priority Mail: 7-10 Business Days
TIP - To keep your shipping cost lower, try and buy only items from the same BRAND of uniforms, linens, skirting, accessories and/or shoes, etc. (for example, all Uncommon Threads items or all Chef Works items). The majority of the time if you have items from multiple brands in your shopping cart your shipping rate will end up being higher as these items ship from different warehouses. If you have any questions about this please contact us.
In some cases, a certain shipping option may not be available to you based on your location and/or the item(s) you are purchasing. For example, the FedEx shipping options are only available to those customers having their items shipped anywhere in the Continental United States. If you live in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska or any other US Territory you will have to pick shipping option "USPS Priority Mail" at checkout.
Also, if you want your item(s) shipped to a PO box you must choose shipping option "USPS Priority Mail" as FedEx will not deliver to PO Boxes. If this rule or another rule applies to you, you will receive an error message and be asked to change your shipping selection.
All missing package claims must be submitted to email@example.com within 7 DAYS of the expected delivery date. Please periodically check the tracking number provided upon shipment to ensure your package will arrive when and where it should.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
International shipping rates are also now calculated in real-time. Please choose one of the three International shipping options to receive your items internationally. Please note:
The USPS First Class Mail International AND USPS Priority Mail International shipping time frame is approximately 2-4 weeks depending on which country you are located in. The USPS Express Mail International option shipping time frame is 1-2 weeks. The USPS Express Mail option ALSO comes with a traceable tracking number where as the first two options DO NOT. Please make a note of this before you choose your shipping option.
First Class Mail International is for packages weighing 4 pounds and UNDER, while Priority Mail International is for packages weighing OVER 4 pounds. Express Mail International can be used for any weight package.
**Please note that Kristen Chef cannot be responsible for, nor will pay, customs charges imposed by foreign governments. These Charges are the purchasers responsibility. Once your order leaves the USA we are not responsible for any errors, delays or lost packages.
